‘The Cyborg Apocalypse’ trailer released: ‘It’s not about me’

The movie adaptation of the popular cyberpunk comic series by Peter V. Brett is set for release on August 17, 2019.

“The Cyborg, the final product, is a film that speaks to the cyberpunk future that the world is living in,” says Brett.

“It’s about how the world can adapt itself, but also how the cybernetic people are going to adapt themselves to those changes.”

In addition to Brett, the project’s cast includes Adam Baldwin, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jai Courtney, Ben Mendelsohn, James Franco, Josh Brener, John Lithgow, John C. Reilly, and Katee Sackhoff.

“Cyborg Apocalypse” will be the directorial debut of Brett, who also directed the upcoming sci-fi film “Gattaca.”

The film stars Tom Hardy, Margot Robbie, Olivia Munn, Jason Clarke, Adam Beach, and others.
